Our Story: A Family Journey Into Early Childhood Education

Wild Oak Academy wasn’t built from a business plan — it was built from our family’s real experiences, real challenges, and a deep passion for creating something better for children.

The very first job my wife, Brianna, and I ever worked together was in a childcare center. She later went on to teach in the school district, and I became a toddler teacher — a role that truly opened my eyes to how early education shapes children in their most important years.

But everything changed the day an incident occurred involving our own child at a childcare center. As a parent, there is no moment more defining than realizing the place you trusted wasn’t providing the level of care every child deserves. That experience became a turning point — the moment I knew I had to do more.

From that day forward, I dedicated my career to ensuring no family would ever feel what we felt. I committed myself to learning, growing, and working my way up in the field:

from teacher
to assistant director
to director

and then eventually to owning multiple centers built on higher standards, stronger values, and genuine care.
What began as two young parents working side-by-side in childcare has grown into a family-driven mission to create safe, nurturing, high-quality learning environments for every child who walks through our doors. Wild Oak Academy is the result of that journey — built from our experiences, shaped by our values, and fueled by a promise to always put children first.
